Sushma is the Project Manager of Himalayan Children Society . She joined HCS in June 2010 where she worked across Health and Education projects, Monitoring and Evaluation of all Health and Education projects of HCS.

Sushma has more than 16 years of experience in INGOs and NGOs and had a Master’s Degree in Rural Development. She is a well-trained Nurse and did Bachelor of Nursing in Community Nursing. Before this she had worked with ADRA Nepal as a Safe Motherhood officer and in ADARA development as a Health coordinator

Sonam Lama is a boys Hostel warden at Yalbang Hostel. He joined HCS in 2024. He is from Humla. Responsible for child protection and safeguarding of the boys residing at hostel.

Develop, maintain, update and apply individual child plan for each and every child at hostel. 

Dipendra Thapa is a Finance officer of Himalayan Children Society. He joined HCS in 2013. He did Master’s in Business Administration from Pokhara University.

He is responsible for budget planning, directing and controls accounting and financial operations within the organizations. He is very dedicated and loves accounting.

Chhabi Lamu Lama is a Girls  Hostel warden at Yalbang Hostel. She  joined HCS in 2024. She is from Humla.

Responsible for child protection and safeguarding of the girls residing at hostel.

Develop, maintain, update and apply individual child plan for each and every child at hostel.

Mr. Jigme Kunsang is from Humla, Yalbang. He did his Diploma in Information and Technology from TCV, India, Himanchal Pradesh. He joined HCs from 2014. He is a computer Teacher at Yalabng School supported by HCS. Beside this he is good at Photo and video collections and presentations.  He loves photo clicking and preparing videos.

Tenchok Shambhel Lama is from Kermi Humla. He had completed his Bachelors degree in science from Xavier International College at Kathmandu. He is one of the graduated from Yalbang school who was desired to return to Humla and wants to serve his community. Now he is a Math teacher for secondary level at Shree mahaboudha secondary school – yalbang.

Mr. Chhembel Duki is from Yangar Humla. He is teaching community language at Primary level from grade 1-5 at Shree Mahaboudha Secondary school – Yalbang

Wangchen Lama is from Chala Humla, which is one of the remotest villages in Humla district. He did Bachelor in Management from India, Dehradun. Now he is working as a English teacher at Lower secondary level at Yalbang school. He loves to spent time with the students.

Pema Lhamu is one of the graduates from Shree Mahaboudha Secondary school – Yalbang . Pema Lhamu is a Computer teacher at Tatopani Lower Secondary School.

Pema Tsekyi Lama is a graduate from Shree Mahaboudha Secondary School- Yalbang. She completed her intermediate in Education and is an ECD teacher at Tatopani Lower Secondary School – Kermi.

Gharmu Lama is a Midwife at Kermi Birthing center since April 2018. She is a trained skilled birth attendant and had got training on Rural Obstetric Ultrasound. She is very dedicated, sincere and   active staff of HCS who is responsible for conducting   Maternal and Neonatal Health Program organized by Himalayan Children Society.
